     I think that data collection and using surveys is a great way to get information from students. As a teacher you want feedback from your students to gauge how they are doing and what they do and do not like. It is also a great way to check engagement. Students love taking surveys and answering how they feel about things. I think using it at the high school level will really help students better understand things like how they compare to other students and if they need to change something. I want to teach History to older high school students and people learn differen4tly and I need to be able to find a teaching style that works for everyone.  A topic I found the most interesting when I was reviewing my classmate's blogs was how many students use Twitter.   Being a distanced learner has definitely not been how I thought it was going to be. Moving to mostly online learning has completely changed how I view education and learning at the college level. While most of the workload and assignments have remained the same but a lot of the motivation is gone. The motivation that I had to complete assignments before class and be motivated to be an active participant has dissipated greatly. While I considered myself a very involved student who takes her classes seriously I find it hard to keep this up with distance learning. I hate the platforms we use for an online discussion and I feel like students just are not connecting anymore. When I am a teacher one thing I will do to help improve distance learning is to have a more interactive classroom.
