When it comes to creating your own content a lot of times you have to modify or use content from other creators. As teachers we have to be very mindful of what we are using and if we have permission to use it. When I worked on my school paper, it was essential not to infringe on copyright or plagiarize anything. Academic honesty and integrity is something that is very important and not only something that teachers should abide by but something that they should be teaching their students. This also means a lot of extra work as a teacher to create lesson plans and instructional materials. It can feel easy to just modify and take other educators' lesson plans, but unless they’ve gotten permission from that teacher, then they are infringing on a copyright.      Decreased productivity is something that is very common but also very devastating to a classroom.   My name is Shannon Persaud. I’m originally from New York but I mostly grew up in North New Jersey. I’m a pre- Social Science Education major and I am a sophomore. I hope to one day be a history teacher and graduate from Florida state with my masters. My favorite subjects in history are Roman history and Medieval Europe. I love music and going to concerts and cannot wait to get back to going to them. I am an only child and my parents recently moved to Orlando. I am really looking forward to this semester! I have not had a lot of experience with technology in an educational setting. I think my experience is similar to many other students. I’ve used applications like canvas and google classroom to get information and materials for classes. I’ve used online applications like second life and kahoot as ways to module learning. I am very familiar for zoom and have used learning tools like pearson for supplemental materials in class. I have not had much experience with blogs or using soc...
