     Hi everyone!

    The school website I looked at was my high school’s website in New Jersey. It looked very different from when I went to school there and had a bit of trouble trying to navigate it. I looked at a few of my old teacher’s pages and they seem to be ve4ry bare and unused. Most of them just contained a link to their google classroom page and their email. Some of the information I was not able to access because I am no longer a student in the district but it had relatively the same information that I was used to seeing before. It seems like teachers do not like to use the interface on the district’s website and would much rather put all of their class information on their google classroom. I personally like this better because much like canvas it is a great way to consolidate all of one’s classes into one interface.

I can definitely agree with most of the teachers that I would much rather use google classroom or blackboard type of application for my students to use and access information. I know that I can get confused with all the different materials and assignments in a class and all the due dates but having one central location with tabs and files organized is super helpful for me as well as my future students. I think one thing I will do differently is having a daily announcement on the website. I know most teachers have announcements for specific things or at the beginning of the week but I think it would be very constructive for me and well as the students to keep track of daily expectations. I think I would also use applications like Quizlet and Kahoot so students are more engaged in the content. 

I have a lot of opinions about the PBworks platform. I think that the interface is very outdated and extremely had to follow. There is some organization but I found it difficult to work with and understand as a user. I think that it looks dull and students will definitely be intimidated by this kind of platform. I think that having some sort of wiki for students could be beneficial but I can definitely say I will not use PBWorks. Maybe I had a bad experience because I did the second project by myself and I am not good with technology but I was not a fan. One thing I did like though was it was easy to edit pages and add information. I also liked the feature that you can see the last couple of edits on the page.
